"Go back in time for the experience..."
Mae West Suite...
"Why don't ya come on up and see me sometime"... Since Mae West stayed here and wooed the locals during the 'Roaring Twentie’s' and 1930's bootlegging days, we've dedicated this suite to her.
West frolicked through the back rooms and alley-ways of the local speakeasies at the time, running her hands through the mash, ready to be stilled for whiskey. An 'Old Timer' told the story as he was quite smitten with her, like many other Old Towner's. From the stage life of New York's Broadway, West passed through Cottonwood on her way to and from Hollywood on more than one occasion.
