  VISITOR CENTER & GIFT SHOP
The AZ Tourist News Visitor Center is located in the Historic Cottonwood Hotel Gift Shop. Local, area, and state wide information can be found at the Visitor Center. Arizona Highways books, back road guides and postcards are also available here.
 
 
  In the gift shop area you may enjoy sipping on a cup of coffee or belly over to the counter for an ice cold sarsaparilla. Take a seat and enjoy a short fifteen minute Verde Valley area video or watch portions of old movie classics filmed locally, such as 'Angel & the Bad Man' starring John Wayne, 'Stay Away, Joe' starring Elvis Presley or 'Desert Fury', starring Burt Lancastor.

  HOTEL GIFT SHOP
Arts, crafts, collectibles, along with gourmet Arizona salsas and jellies are available. 'Kick Ass Products' such as hot 'Salsa from Hell' to a sweet mango salsa called 'Candy Ass'. Kokopelli products such as corn bread mixes, Uncle Tio's Tortilla Soup, Anasazi Bean Soup, cocoa's and more. (The Kokopelli Kitchen products support the research at the Raven Site Ruins, an 800 room prehistoric pueblo located in east central Arizona). Prickly Pear Cactus jellies and marmalades are also available in the gift shop.
 
 
  Native American arts, nature crafts, collectible tin signs, light switch plate covers, magnets, thermometers, Arizona night lights, are other items to be found.  
 
  The ArtWalk on Thursday evenings from 4-9PM will be bringing the many art forms available to this area. On location we will be featuring anything from fine art, funky art, folk art to healing arts, music and more. The ArtWalk is just a start in building this area's reputation as a visual and cultured community so that our local art scene becomes more visible.
