PRIVATE 1 Bedroom/Bath Apartment Style Suite (507sq.ft.) Sometimes referred to as our John Wayne Suite, as the "Duke" romanced Gail Russell here on several occasions during their 1946 filming of 'Angel & the Badman'.

DESCRIPTION:
This nonsmoking one bedroom, one bath apartment style suite, makes an excellent choice for those looking for an affordable vacation rental in Cottonwood, AZ and near Sedona (just 15 minutes away). It is an upper front inside unit that is adjacent to the common balcony that overlooks Old Town. There are nice original hardwood floors throughout.

The BEDROOM
has (1) queen bed, cotton quilt and sheets on top a spa mattress with 4" memory foam topper. There is an overhead ceiling fan with reversed 3-speed and a window A/C. The window overlooks a roof view. If you keep the blinds open you do have an awesome blue sky (360 days out of the year) that will awake you above the roofline.

The LIVING ROOM
has just been updated with 2 Classic Franklin leather tufted chairs. There is an armoire with TV, DirecTV, VCR with classic and locally filmed movies (including Angel & the Badman), and a small closet. The large window overlooks the balcony and Old Town view.
We can set up a single airbed for a 3rd person with an additional fee. See photos below.

The BATHROOM
is small with a 32" x 32" shower only, no tub, a pedestal sink with a triple mirror cabinet, organic liquid dispenser soaps, plenty of towels and hooks to hang dry after use.
But, like John Wayne would have said, "Pilgrim, just leave that 10 gallon hat at the door! And by the way, how much time you goin' spend in there anyways?? Now me, I've got too many trails to explore under Arizona blue skies..."
***If you are a large person, this historic hotel suite may not work for you. Even though our units are apartment style suites, the rooms are small. They have been sufficient and have worked for most guests that have stayed here. See our reviews HERE...

This unit is best suited for a single or cozy couple. It is at best preferred by the independent traveler/guest(s) for the longer extended stay vacation rental and is chosen over other local hotels/motels and lodging by most who have had the opportunity to stay here.
It makes an ideal location in Old Town Cottonwood, AZ, as it is close for those traveling to Sedona on a budget. If it's available for an overnighter or a weekend stay, the price is still comparable to a standard hotel/motel room and you get a lot more.
