Tuzigoot National Monument
Located on the edge of Cottonwood in Clarkdale and just 1 mile from the Cottonwood Hotel.
When you are in Old Town Cottonwood, AZ, if you stand on the curve at N. Main & Balboa and look North, you will see the Tuzigoot Indian ruins overlooking the town. These Sinagua ruins are very interesting, near the Verde River and are ruins that you can actually walk into and get a feel of how the Indians lived. Well worth the visit!
